Patric Rutherford, PhD is an Advisory Member of Sunny Plains Foundation, with a vision to improve the health and well-being of the whole person. He has an undying passion to bring awareness to the importance of emotional intelligence.
Patric is the President and CEO of Andrews Memorial Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica since 1995, and an ordained Minister in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is actively involved in the church and community as a marriage and family counselor and as a presenter on health related topics such as stress management, diet, exercise, emotional intelligence, and mental health.
Patric has served several non-profit organizations throughout his career. He is currently the President of Jamaica Association of Private Hospitals, a Board Member of Northern Caribbean University, and a Member of Jamaica Union of Seventh-day Adventist Union Committee. He is also a past Member of the Select Committee of the Ministry of Health for the Drafting of Standards to Guide the Construction of Hospitals in Jamaica.
Patric holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration, with a Masters in Health Administration, and Bachelors in Theology.
